 Fabulous Fish Day  – our most popular day

From tinned tuna and roasted pepper salad to pescado a la Sal with Salsa Verde. We will be preparing all the wonderful dishes of the zone. Gambas Ajillo, Corvina con Papas, Aroz Negro, Paella, Boiled Prawns and dipping sauces, Clams with Jamón & Sherry to name but a few. We will kick off with a visit to Barbate fish market then

Thurs 22nd – Sun 25th – 4 night & 3 day course

Slip into Spring with sun kissed strawberries and glistening sea bass. This 4 night break will inspire you to shake off the Winter cobwebs and arm you with inspiring Spring dishes. only 4 places left


APRIL

Monday 2nd – Thursday 5th – 4 night & 3 day course

This is a wonderful time to visit Vejer, where Easter is a purely religious celebration. Memorable Easter processions too. The tomatoes are now beginning to sweeten and the days are longer – filled with extra sunshine. This will be our favourite and most popular 3 day course with lots of Spanish dishes, fish galore (market visits) and a splash of Moroccan. Come join in some pre Easter fun. 6 places left

Come and visit Vejer during Easter when the town marks this religious time with processions. A delicious time to explore markets and indulge in the first of the summer produce. You suggest the dates!

Thurs 12th-Mon 16th – 3 day & 4 night       Cooking with Kids

Our third summer of this really popular holiday activity – parents and kids together in the kitchen – chopping, tasting, creating, laughing and learning all about how to prepare fabulous dishes in a fabulously short time.  There will be visits to local allotments, where you can watch and help pick the produce to be used later in the kitchen.  Market visits and tapas tours are also on the menu. Casa Amaro is the perfect family accommodation for your stay in Vejer.
