Tuesday – Arrive in Vejer
We recommend morning flights from Bristol & London into Gibraltar or from elsewhere via Madrid into Jerez. You will be collected and transferred to Vejer.
18.30 Introduction to Sherry Class with Annie, with matching tapas.
Wednesday – El Puerto de Santa Maria
We will leave around 10am for our first appointment at a family-run bodega in El Puerto de Santa Maria. Shorter visit to another bodega. Gourmet lunch with Sherry pairings.
Return to Vejer for a free evening for you to explore the town.
Thursday – Jerez
Jerez is the capital of the Sherry Triangle. We will start our day in Jerez with a private tasting at El Consejo Regulador (Sherry Wine Council), followed by an exclusive visit to a Jerez Bodega that does not open to the public. Gourmet lunch in Mantua in Jerez with Sherry pairings.
Return to Vejer for siesta and an evening private Flamenco music event.
Friday – Sanlucar de Barrameda
Sanlucar is synonymous with the fabulous Manzanilla. Follow the evolution as we taste directly from the barrels.. Light tapas lunch.
Return to Vejer for siesta ahead of our farewell gourmet dinner in Spain’s Temple of Tuna, El Campero in Barbate.
